YOUR BROWSER. YOUR LITTLE ARCADE.

Privacy and browser saves

Webcade does not ask you to create an account or enter personal information to play. The arcade currently includes no advertising or analytics scripts.

Game saves

Games with saving enabled use your browser’s local storage to keep scores or progress on this device. Saves are not uploaded to Webcade and do not sync between browsers or devices. Snake saves your best score.

Clearing this site’s browser data removes your saves. If browser storage is blocked or full, you can still play, but progress may only last for the current visit.

Offline files

Webcade uses a service worker and browser cache to download game files for offline play. These files stay on your device. You can remove them through your browser’s site data settings. Removing offline files means you will need an internet connection to download the arcade again.

Hosting and external links

Webcade is hosted by Cloudflare. Visiting the site sends normal web requests to our hosting provider, including network information such as your IP address. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its handling of data.

Links to GitHub and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. If you submit feedback publicly on GitHub, your report is visible there.

Questions

You can raise a question through the project’s GitHub issues. Do not include sensitive personal information in a public issue.
